Dear Luvlee,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once upon a time there was a girl who didn\u2019t believe in love,
She was hurt by people who were supposed to protect her,
So she was forced to grow up quickly, and to find trust in herself. 
She couldn\u2019t trust love, or other people. She didn\u2019t feel safe, so she avoided.

She was known for short term casual relationships,
until one day she met a boy that wouldn\u2019t allow her to run.
He was patient, he was persistent in a way that didn\u2019t feel like pressure,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And slowly she started to open her mind to the idea long-term, 
and her heart started thawing and pieces of trust, care and genuine love slowly
Made it\u2019s way into her heart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the relationship ended, there was gratitude and pure love that remained.
An appreciation for the gift of learning how to love another human in a way
that was never taught to her. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He wasn\u2019t her savior or knight in shining armor. Their relationship wasn\u2019t a fairytale.
It was real, raw, and full of challenges \u2014 each one teaching her not just about love,
but also about herself.

She learned what felt good for her heart and recognized that endings are not failures,
but can bring beautiful beginnings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When they parted, they parted as friends with a deep respect and appreciation for each other.
Unconditional love exists, not in the way movies and tv shows sometimes portray,
but in the realness of shared experience and genuine care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over the years, she\u2019s learned to let more people in slowly.
She has a soul family that she knows was sent by the universe.
She\u2019s been blessed with adventure, love, kindness
and the ever-expanding understanding of just how wonderfully protected she is.

Although this story isn\u2019t a happily ever after for the two lovers,
it is a happily ever after for the girl who became a woman who understands how strong she is
and how love in all forms, romantic, platonic, familiar, etc. feeds the soul.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

May this letter reach anyone who may need a little food for the soul.
You are loved, even if you don\u2019t know what that means.
